Jaipur(India) A Photo Tour

Jaipur was my landing point in India and what a beautiful and must visit place to start my journey! I made this compilation for people who want to discover more about India or even visit the “pink city” in the future, I hope you like it people!

Jaipur Photos

A Gate Near The City Palace

Gatori Ki Chhatriyan

This place was used as a crematorium for the rulers of Jaipur. Full of tombs and temples made out of marble surrounded by green hills it’s a beautiful complex full of art and history. I was lucky enough to have a tour guide couchsurfing host who took me here, otherwise I would’ve missed it.

Hawa Mahal

The Hawa Mahal “Palace of Winds” was built in 1799 so that the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside.

Amer Fort

This is the main attraction in the Jaipur area. It is one of the most impressive forts in Rajasthan and the view from up there is amazing.

Jal Mahal

Surrounded by the Man Sagar Lake the water palace has been home to Jaipur’s prime minister, but it is now a very luxurious hotel.

Amer is the small town about 10km from Jaipur where I stayed for 3 nights couchsurfing. It is surrounded by a massive stone wall, it’s home to Amer Fort and there are many ancient buildings and chill places with loads of cute monkeys.

Swargasuli Tower

This is a place you must go to if you want a 360 degree view of the pink city. It’s a long way up and you might get dizzy, but it is definitely worth coming here.

And that’s it. These are my best photos of Jaipur, if this doesn’t make you want to visit it, I don’t know what will! Let me know what you think in the comments below! And please share it if you think someone else will find it interesting. Thanks a lot and see you on the next post!
